We are seeking a full-time Technician to join our growing team.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Perform safe and expedient cleanup of hazardous waste/toxic materials
- Operate extremely high-pressured water blast equipment to clean heavy industrial equipment (pipe, boilers, tanks, heat exchangers, bundles, barges)
- Perform general housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, organizing, cleaning, lawn care, and other assigned tasks
- Operate equipment and tools used in hazardous waste activities
- Answer 24/7 emergency response calls
- Strong work ethic and reliable
- Excellent communication skills
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- A minimum of 3 years of environmental and hazardous waste control experience
- Driver license and clean driving record
- Physically capable of standing, shoveling, and performing other types of physical work for long periods of time
- 40 hours – HAZWOPER certificate
- Confined Space Entry certification preferred but not required
